Forget about cricket for a moment and imagine you’re the proud owner of a two-year old gelding from New Zealand.

He’s a graceful chestnut with Kiwi staying power and the latest offering from Shergar Thoroughbreds.

We’re heading to the VRC Derby.

Join us for the ride!

Lady Jouster strutting her stuff for us at Caulfield this morning with another shocking poser.

She’s so placid and elegant – a true performer.

Thanks to Anthony, Dan and Brendan for allowing me a little time with her as we look ahead to the Oaks.

While all eyes were on Caulfield on Saturday our lovely filly Lady Jouster recorded her maiden victory over 2200m at Bendigo.

Here she is showing the rest how it’s done in just her fourth start.

We now head towards the VRC Oaks.

Go the Jouster!

We were pleased with Red Eye Special’s 5th of 17 in the Group One Metropolitan.

He was less than a length from second placing.

He will head to Melbourne for his next start (and a cuddle from me).

We’re in the Group One Metropolitan Hcp 2400m.

Top field.

Yes, I am a little bit excited.

Here’s an update on Red Eye Special.

We’re waiting to hear if he’ll get a start in the Group One Metropolitan over 2400m at Randwick on Saturday.

If he doesn’t make the field we have a plan B.

More to come…
